Park Yoochun was raised in Seoul, South Korea but moved to Chantilly, Virginia in the United States when he was 11 years old (Sixth Grade) with his family. In 2001, at a song festival, he won the Daesang (the highest award) and started to spread his name around. In 2003 in a Youth music festival, he recieved a special award and because of that, he caught one of SM's recruiting team's attention. Yoochun's piano skills and song writing skills are great. He has written over 100 songs before his debut. He has good taekwondo skills too. In elementary school he represented the state's taekwondo team and performed with them on "Children's day". Micky Yoochun who has lots of talents, announced that he gave up his U.S Citizenship. It was to concentrate on his singing career. In order to keep up with the U.S citizenship he has to go to the states 2 or 3 times in a year. So it would be hard to peform in Korea all the time. Yoochun has announced that when he becomes an adult, he is going to join the army with DBSK members.

Facts 

Official debut: December 26th 2003 in BoA and Britney Spears Showcase (with TVXQ)

Yoochun lived in Fairfax, Virginia for roughly four years since 1998 before he auditioned for Brothers Entertainment and was sent to Korea to SM Entertainment.

He had to take a lot of part time jobs to earn money to buy his first piano and for the plane ticket to Korea.

Micky was Yoochun's English nickname when he lived in Virginia.

Aftercoming back to Korea from America, he became a trainee for only six months before officially joining DBSK as the last member.

He appeared in Magolpi's debut music video "Flight Girl".

Going to Japan was his scariest experience so far.

Ramen is his favourite Japanese food.

He's into Japanese anime "Detective Conan" and used to collect (or still is ^^) Gundam Seed plastic models. He also loves to read comic books (mangas). His (young) fans often send them to him as gifts. His favorites are "One Piece" and "Bleach". 

Yoochun has 4 tattoos. The first one on his right leg, reportedly a feather, is an Indian symbol of brotherhood, that he and his brother Yoohwan share.The second one is on his lower back which says TVfXQMYC. The third one says "Always Keep The Faith", that Jaejoong also has. The fourth one is a wing, with "My Jaejoong, My Yoohwan, My Junsu" written above. The third and forth tattoos are both on his left chest. 

He had his first kiss during a ski trip, after debut.

He took a lot of part time jobs when he was in Virginia to help out parents financially. 

Yoochun is left-handed but he can write with both hands. He uses chopsticks with his left hand but he writes with his right hand.

He is very generous and often pays for meals. 

He wants to pursue acting.

He bought a house to live with his mother and younger brother after they came back to Korean from the US in 2008. 

Yoochun is often teased by other members because of his large forehead which is also the most common reason for his fights with Junsu.

Yoochun did Taekwondo for 6 years when he was in elementary school.

He opened an Italian ice-cream shop (Timeout Gelato) for his mother on Mother's day.

He is really scared of bugs.

He liked to sing, dance, dressing up and paying attention to hairstyles since he was small.

Yoochun still has asthma and allergy to dogs but he refused to let Harang be taken away. This is also why he sometimes has to wear sunglasses onstage. For now Yoochun has 3 dogs: Harang (The Love from God) - Alaskan Malamute, Namu (Trees ~ LOL) - Golden Retriever and Norae (Song) - Toy Poodle. It was Yoochun himself who went to puppies' shop and bought Harang and Namu and raised them since when they were tiny. Norae is fangift. One time Yoochun went out to buy foods for Harang (Namu was not there yet), he ran into some fans and they gave him Norae. He said that at that time, Norae was looking at him as if she wanted to say: "Take me with you!!!" 

He has a small stomach therefore native Korean food suits him the best. Every time he comes home from abroad, the first thing he has to eat is kimchi soup. 

Yoochun got his driving licence when he was 16 in America.

To him, the color of love is black.

He got an acrophobia, thus he couldn't ride the ferris wheel.

He wrote lyrics for his solo song My Girlfriend, one main song of TRICK series, at Starbucks.

When he is having supper, because he feels lonely, he will force others to accompany him.

The Lee family harbored a secret and it was believed that was how they could survive for generation and prospered no matter what the circumstances.The family was the decendant of the nine tailed fox. Once a female familymember reached puberty, she would undergo a ritual to determine if she carried the genes of the nine tailed fox. If she were, she would be 'married off and never see her family again. Lee Myung Ok was the youngest daughter of the family and her curiosity led her to dicover that the marriage was a farce whereas in actual fact, the 'bride' was being sacraficed and killed so the family patriarch could prolong his life feasting on the liver of the nine tailed fox. When her only sister was killed in such manner, Myung Ok unleashedher fury and turned into a nine tailed fox herself to seek revenge. Is this the end of the family?

After going through apremature marriage and early divorce, he enjoys his life back in the datingscene with his half-single and half-married status, while continuing toencounter emotionally-involved moments with his ex-wife Shin Ji (Shin Ji) attimes. Smooth n High Kick! is a situation comedy, which portrays the everydaylives of the main characters colliding with each other in a comical way.However, at a certain point, the surprising mysteries of their seemingly-normalsurrounding characters begin to unravel one by one.

An unlikely protagonist slinks around in “The Cat,” which follows So-yeon (Park Min-yeong), a pet groomer who suffers from claustrophobia stemming from a childhood experience.
One day, one of So-yeon’s customersdies on the elevator, leaving her cat Bi-dan behind. The mystery of who killed the woman on the elevator is unknown, and the cat is the only witness. As thepolice begin their investigation, they ask So-yeon to take care of Bi-dan. Bu tsomething strange happens to So-yeon from the day she brings Bi-dan home.
So-yeon starts having nightmares in which she sees a little girl who keeps coming back to haunt her dreams. Afraid and unsure of what this might mean, So-yeon starts investigating the mystery ofthe cat and the death of its owner when her closest friend, who has alsorecently gotten a cat, dies. The film was invited to participate inthe 64th Cannes Film Festival Film Market, where its distribution rights weresold to three companies in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.Critics at Cannes said that the movie is scary yet fascinating and ultimately appealing.

Biography

So Ji Sub was born on November 4, 1977. He started swimming in an early age. He continued swimming till his high school years. "In high school, I was a swimmer who was doing well. To be precise, I played water polo, which is known as “handball in water.” My skills were known. People would be surprised to hear that I was a national representative of junior water polo. I really enjoyed sports. It’s the same now, but my parents worried a lot because they thought I couldn’t adjust to teamwork because of my introverted personality. But the freedom inside water was a kind of release and escape for me. I parted water without desire, and the feeling I got in my body from it caught me from going into a bad path during my teenage years. Sports was a thankful existence for me. No, it still is my most thankful friend. " 

Having an athletic background, he started modeling to make living. Being an avid fan of hip-hop group Deunx and Kim Seung Jae, he got the opprtunity to do modeling for denim jean with him. The sudden death of Kim Seung Jae was a big shock to him before taking the first step but "Like that, my mind’s idol passed. Ironically, the sudden death of my idol became an opportunity that opened another road for me. I had been supporting cast, but I was suddenly chosen as the main mode". 

Being given the opportunity of starting his modeling work he met his long-time friends Seung Seung Hun and Park Young ha. He made his acting debut in the sitcom Three Guys and Three Girls and drama Model.  But whereas fellow STORM model Song Seung-heon quickly rose to stardom, he had difficulty raising his profile. He appeared in small roles on television throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, and started to gain popularity when he was cast as the male second lead in Glass Slippers in 2002. "From my debut in 1995 to 2004’s “What Happened in Bali,” I had a nine-year period of obscurity. Back then, the flower-boy style of people like Jang Dong-gun, Han Jae-suk and Song Seung-hun were drawing popularity from the masses. During that time, I heard the phrase “Don’t be an actor” countless times."

So Ji Sub began to show his potential to become a true actor in 2004's What Happened in Bali, but was again overshadowed by co-star Zo In-sung. At the time, So thought he would end up being a supporting actor. But later that year, he had his breakout role as the tragic hero in smash hit I'm Sorry, I Love You. It made him a top star in Korea, as well as all over Asia. "As “What Happened in Bali” and “I’m Sorry, I Love You” became hit after hit, the awareness of the masses toward me changed. They accepted my own distinct charms and gave me love. I think that’s also when I earned the nicknamed ‘So Ganji.’"

He enlisted for mandatory military service in 2005 as a public relations officer with the Mapo District Office, and was discharged on April 27, 2007. He made his comeback in Jang Hoon's directorial debut Rough Cut, in which he played a thug who dreams of becoming an actor. Because of the film's low budget, So and costar Kang Ji-hwan decided to invest their fees back into the movie, and were credited as producers. So's performance was well received by audiences and critics, and the film became a surprise box office hit.

In 2009 he attempted to break into the Japanese and Chinese markets and the results were I'm a ghost which was a 24 5-min episodes and the movie Sophie's revenge. "I wanted to do a bright and cheery role because I've played so many sad and gloomy ones." He acted in drama Cain and Abel the same year.

In 2010 he headlined the big-budget Korean War epic Road No along side Kim Haneul.

He published his first photo essay (The journey of So Ji Sub) about his travels during the summer of 2010. The book includes his encounters with various people such as rapper Tiger JK, novelist Lee Oi-soo, cartoonist Park Jae-dong, artists dusicnddilddil and Korea's youngest bird researcher Jung Da-mi. The book was a big success in Korea.  He was subsequently named the goodwill ambassador of Gangwon Province in an effort to boost tourism there and a 51 km-long trail in the province was named "So Ji-sub Road," which was unveiled to the public on May 20, 2012. He is the first Korean actor to have an entire road named after him.

A professed longtime hip-hop lover, he rapped for two original tracks – Lonely Life and Foolish Love – under the artist pseudonym "G" or "G-Sonic" for the Rough Cut and Cain and Abel soundtracks, respectively. In 2011 he released another digital single Pick Up Line under his own name. Two teaser videos were released, the first one described as a comedic version that featured guest stars Jung Joon-ha (who is a close friend of So's) and Kim Byung-man (whom So named as one of his favorite comedians). The single, along with the music video itself, was released on February 17, 2011, but recorded low sales. 

During 2011 to 2013 he played two other movies "Always" With Hanhyo Joo and A company man. His second photo essay which covers 150 days of filming the movie Always was published in 2012. He published his magazine called SONICe in the same year. Ghost in 2012 was his next drama project which was a mild-hit. 

He experienced his first romantic-comedy role in drama The master's sun which was a mega hit and proved his popularity and acting ability once more.

Yoo Ji-tae (b. April 13, 1976) in a very short time rose to become a major actor in Korean film. In the year 2000, with a series of hit films, widely-seen TV appearances, and a career in modeling, Yoo was more constantly in the limelight than any other actor.

His first brush with fame came in the role of "Paint" in his second feature, the 1999 hit Attack the Gas Station. His sensitive and artistic image in this film and the warm character he displayed as a guest on TV talk shows helped to propel him to stardom. With the surprise success of his third film Ditto in spring 2000, Yoo's star status was secured. He also appeared in the successful firefighting film Libera Me. In this early part of his career, he was known particularly for the wild colors that he would dye his hair (white in Attack the Gas Station, blue in Ditto, blonde in Libera Me).

As Yoo's career established itself he began to appear in many high-profile projects, such as in well-known arthouse director Hong Sang-soo's Woman is the Future of Man (which, like Old Boy, screened at Cannes in 2004); Yim Phil-sung's big-budget Antarctic Journal, shot in New Zealand; and the action/noir Running Wild with Kwon Sang-woo. Currently now he is Dating Kim Hyo jin

Career

Kim Hee-sun debuted as the MC of SBS's music show Inkigayo in 1993 during her second year of high school,and has since become famous both at home and abroad as one of Korea's most beautiful actresses. She starred as the heroine in many hit trendy dramas in the 1990s, such as Propose and Forever Yours with Ryu Shi-won, Wedding Dress with Lee Seung-yeon, Mister Q with Kim Min-jong and Song Yun-ah, Tomato with Kim Suk-hoon, and Goodbye My Love with Ahn Jae-wook.

Kim also gradually built up a career in film, beginning in 1997 with Repechage opposite Jang Dong-gun. Director Lee Kwang-hoon subsequently put her in his next film, Ghost in Love in 1999. In her most high-profile role to date, Kim played the daughter of a Mongolian general in the big-budget martial arts fantasy Bichunmoo, shot in China and released in the summer of 2000. Although criticized for her acting in the film, it gave her more local and international exposure than any of her other films. Along with her popular TV dramas, it cemented her position as a Korean wave star in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and throughout Southeast Asia.

In late 2001, Kim took on a completely different kind of role, cutting her hair short and starring as an animator in Wanee & Junah. Although her acting in this film drew a favorable response from critics, the film itself was a flop at the box office. In 2003 her career took a bit of a downturn, when the environmentally-themed melodrama A Man Who Went to Mars (also known as A Letter From Mars), in which she starred with Shin Ha-kyun, proved to be an utter bomb at the box office.^[5] She returned to television in 2005, playing a blind woman in Sad Love Story, which received low ratings.^[6][7][8] But thanks to her popularity among Chinese viewers, she was then cast opposite Jackie Chan in The Myth, for which she learned to speak Mandarin.^[9]

After her 2006 drama Smile Again, Kim got married in 2007, and she left the entertainment scene to devote her time to being a wife and mother. During this five-year hiatus from acting, she only appeared in magazines, and in 2009 she published Kim Hee-sun's Happy Mom Project, a book on childcare and how to lose post-pregnancy weight.^{[11][12][13][14]}

Though she appeared in the 2011 Chinese epic The Warring States,Kim officially made her comeback as a modern-day doctor who time-travels to Goryeo in the 2012 period romance Faith.

In 2013 she became one of the hosts of the revamped second season of variety talk show Strong Heart. Titled Hwasin – Controller of the Heart, her co-MCs were Shin Dong-yup and Yoon Jong-shin 
After Hwasin was cancelled, Kim returned to acting in the 2014 weekend family drama Wonderful Days, written by Lee Kyung-hee.

When asked about role models U-ie quickly cited Uhm Jung-Hwa the singer and actress without any hesitation. U-ie stated that, "Uhm Jung-Hwa sunbaenim (senior) has a variety of images". Uhm Jung-Hwa has been able to have a long and successful career as both a singer and an actress and U-ie is hoping to follow in her footsteps. While U-ie spoke of Uhm Jung-Hwa her eyes shone and the reporter was able to see her sincerity and tell how big a fan she is.

Since working on the set of "Ojakgyo Brothers" U-ie has been receiving a lot of helpful tips from her seniors. Though it is "still very hard to accept criticism" it has helped U-ie become a better actress and made her stronger. U-ie revealed she feels a little pressure that her two dramas "Birdie Buddy" and "Ojakgyo Brothers" will be on television at the same time. But, since the two characters she plays have a "180-degree difference", U-ie is confident viewers will respond well to both shows.

Promoting with After School along with her individual activities takes a lot of time and energy.

When U-ie was asked if she would rather focus on her passion which is acting instead of singing she replied that being "on the stage it's just a happy pleasure I could not give up".

Even though After School has a "Graduation" concept when prompted U-ie firmly stated, "never want to" in regards to leaving the group. U-ie has a strong attachment to the group and revealed she had been offered a chance to be an actress being debuting in After School. U-ie lovingly said, "I was offered the chance to be an actress before my debut, I took the opportunity to be a member of After School". This chance to be in the group was seized by U-ie because she sincerely felt it was the right choice in her heart.

Since her debut in After School, U-ie has been working long and hard without a pause. When she was asked if she regretted not being able to fully experience life as a regular college student U-ie who attends Sungkyunkwan University replied that her studies are very important but she doesn't want to miss the opportunity of having a successful entertainment career.

Because of this she will attend college while still remaining active as a singer and actress though she recognizes she "still has a long way to go" and enthusiastically mentioned she wants to finish school in her twenties while laughing.

What does she think about criticism that she would not have won two starring roles simultaneously despite her inexperience if she had not been a member of a successful manufactured band? "I find the statement unfair. I didn't win the roles easily because of my body, or because I'm in a band. I practiced acting and golfing very hard for three months to pass the audition for the soaps."

Will she be able to both sing and act? "It's not easy for me to maintain both jobs in a very tight schedule, because After School are preparing Japanese debut. But I try to do my best by cutting down on sleep because I can't afford to be a nuisance to After School and the TV crew," U-ie said.

How is her acting coming along? "Right now, it's just so much fun. I really enjoy reading the script and thinking about how to play certain scenes when the new script comes out. It's amazing how I get drawn into studying acting when I was never interested in studying at school. It feels like I'm being recreated through acting."
